Here at First Baptist Church Maud, our mission is serving Christ and serving our community.

So, why do we serve? 

Mark 10:45 says, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve…” Jesus did not come seeking to be served, but instead, he came to serve and save the lost. 

So, we serve, because He served. We serve because we love Christ. 

John 3:16-17 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish by have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”  

We serve because he loved us first.
